We are really excited about our new custom silhouettes. You can wear them to celebrate your children, your husband or partner, and even your pets!
We were originally inspired by this vintage
charm bracelet that belonged to Shannon's mom.
We always thought these old fashioned "boy" and "girl" charms were really fun.
But as metalsmiths we knew it would be amazing to create a charm that shows the exact shape of your loved ones faces using our jeweler's saws.
The saw that we use is so small that it allows us to cut fine details that results in a beautiful heirloom charm that will be cherished for generations to come.

ReplyDeleteMy grandmother wore one silhouette charm for each of her 7 grandchildren -- I loved them! If I had to choose only 1...I would choose my son who just left for college. I miss him terribly and it would be a wonderful charm to wear everyday! Thanks for sharing your new piece of art with us all!

ReplyDeleteI would get a silhouette of my best friends husband and give it to her. She recently lost him from cancer and I think this would be a special gift.
I would get a silhouette of my little Valentine, my three year old daughter Jasiah. She was born and Valentine's which was also my grandmother's birthday. I often question what I was meant to do on this earth and when I see her precious face I know I am blessed with the dream job of being her mommy so this necklace would be a great reminder :)

These are absolutely precious! I would have one of my beautiful 19 month old daughter. She has just started to have enough hair to put in a little pony tail and I always want to be able to remember her this way; so beautiful and innocent and sweet.

My mother had silhouettes drawn of my sister and I when we were little. I can still picture them in her bedroom. They were so dramatic because they were on black with the white silhouettes and yet so peaceful and innocent. I am now having my first baby, a little girl and love this traditional way to symbolize her.

I would want a charm of my beautiful 18 year old daughter Caitlin, who passed away as the result of a car accident, in 2008. Her 23rd birthday would be November 19. She was an incredibly talented and kind girl - writer, photographer, equestrian, leader, friend, sister and daughter. Being her mother was/is a journey I cherish. Her brother fills me up with love....i realize more than ever the importance of holding tight to the little moments of life and connection.

This is such an awesome memory you've created! The joy in being a mom and the experience of raising such precious miracles, I would love to have silhouettes of my 3 kids (1 daughter and 2 sons). Who to choose...maybe ME! So that my 3 kids could not get jealous of which kid I chose, and all could look at how I looked as a baby...Hmmm, that sounds odd...maybe one from Grandma's baby picture. :-)
