Studio Update

A few entries ago I told you about my dream to have a stand alone studio in my backyard.
I am excited to say that we are making tons of progress!

It's going to be very small, only 120 square feet. But will accommodate two jewelry benches and my blowtorch. Currently my torch is in the garage and most days it is a pain running from my basement where I work now, to my upstairs every time I need to solder a piece. So I am really looking forward to having everything in one place.

Also, I haven't mentioned here on my blog yet, but I am 6 months pregnant (more on that in future posts) so my nesting instinct is going nuts wishing for a little more separation of work life vs. family life. I cannot express how eager I am to get this finished, ventilated, dry walled, painted, etc. prior to the baby coming! We are currently submitting information to our home owners association for their approval so wish us luck on that.
